Arts and Science Resiliency Park
We are proposing the creation of an Arts and Science Resiliency Park on Town-owned land near Memorial Park Beach. This public space will support the goals outlined in the Town’s Watershed-Based Plan by combining environmental education, stormwater management, and community art.

Project Goals
Improve Our Lake's Water Quality
Reduce stormwater runoff and filtering pollutants before they reach the lake
Educate the Community
Create a hands-on learning environment where families can explore topics like stormwater management, native species, and invasive species control
Celebrate Local Artists
Incorporate public art to inspire pride in Sharon’s creative culture
Foster a Resilient Public Space
Design a beautiful, functional park that brings people together while demonstrating sustainable land use practices
Key Elements
Permeable Pavers & Rain Gardens to naturally filter stormwater and reduce pollution
Art Mural to celebrate Sharon's vibrant artistic community
Exhibits to educate children and families on environmental topics in a fun, engaging way
